The team at Confluent Research learned the fundamentals of heat transfer and fluid mechanics in engineering school, and we haven’t stopped applying them since. We channel all the usual suspects: Bernoulli, Blasius, Conservation of Mass, Navier-Stokes… And keep up to date with developments in the field as active practitioners in academia and as academic journal reviewers.

While the CFD and multi physics approach is quite useful, we find that it is often more appropriate to start with an analytical approach.
